OK - So my hubby and I were out shopping at Costco and I convinced him to buy a new box of command strips (we have a box somewhere in the house, but can't find them). So I decided to do a gallery wall. I've been wanting to do one for quite awhile. Using command strips, I felt better knowing that I wouldn't be leaving holes all over the wall trying to hang stuff.
My first step was to I lay my photo's, my letter "T"'s, and a couple of written art and laid it all out on the floor. I found a pattern I thought I liked and then went to hold them up to the wall and see how it would look. Yikes the clock I wanted to use as my centerpiece was HUGE! I had to start over taking the clock out. That wasn't that big of a deal, but I thought having a clock in the hall would be a good idea.
So here is the finished project! I'm pleased, its my first attempt and if I really don't like it, say tomorrow - I can pull it right off the wall - no damage, just pull the tab on the command strip. Voila! I like knowing it's not a permanent thing and can change it without going through the hassle of filing holes and then re-painting.
